OCT. 1, 2009 - Effective January 1, 2010, employer contribution rates for Boilermakers National Health and Welfare Fund (the Fund) will increase for Plans G and GR. Contributions for additional life insurance and AD&D, premiums for Plan M, and self-pay rates for the Special Widow(ers) Plan will not increase.

The Fund has not increased contribution rates since 2006, even though employment-related health insurance premiums have increased 119 percent over the last decade.* For detailed information on the rate increases, read the Health and Welfare Employer Contributions Increase for Plans G and GR Notice.
