    • Pension Plan Announces Changes Effective October 2012

      Recently, the Trustees of the Boilermaker-Blacksmith National Pension Trust approved changes to the Pension Plan. The changes apply only to Pension contributions made on your behalf for work performed on or after October 1, 2012.  The Minimum Contribution Rate will change January 1, 2013.  Read more about these changes. more

    • Important Contact Information / Hours of Business

      Our office hours at Boilermakers National Funds (BNF) are 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday.  Participants and Employers should call BNF at 866-342-6555 for questions about Annuity, Pension and Employer Contributions. Contact information for BNF Health and Welfare questions depends on the type of information you are seeking.     • New Health and Welfare Evidence of Coverage and Summary Plan Description (SPD)

      December 13, 2012 – The new Health and Welfare SPD for Active and Retiree coverage was recently mailed to all Plan participants. more

    • Exchange Notice to Employers

      September 20, 2013 – The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) requires all employers to provide notice to all current full and part-time employees regarding the Health Insurance Marketplace (“Marketplace” or “Exchange”) by October 1, 2013.  In addition to the Exchange, the notice must include whether health care coverage provided (if any) meets both the minimum value standard and the affordability standard.  Boilermakers National Funds has provided a notice to all contributing employers of its minimum value and affordability status. more

    • Annuity Transition from JP Morgan to Prudential

      Effective January 1, 2014, the Boilermakers National Annuity trust will be transitioning to a new full-service record keeper, Prudential Retirement. The Fund Office will continue to handle contribution and hours worked information while other tasks will be performed by Prudential. more
